After starting the last two games well, 35 points in the first quarter of both games, it was critical to start well in a hostile environment like Perth.

Things did not go according to plan as the team could only manage a season low 15 points in the first quarter which left them 14 points in arrears at quarter time.

Things did not improve much for the rest of the game as Perth outscored the Tigers in the next three quarters to inflict the biggest loss of the season (25 points) on the Tigers. It was the second time in the six games of this season that the Tigers would return their lowest points tally for the year, 89. A team tally of 12 assists was also the lowest for the year.

Individually Perth had three players who scored over 20 points while the Tigers had one player to pass that mark.

Stats Highlights:

Andrew Gaze – 35pts

Dave Simmons – 15pts & 6 rebounds

Mark Bradtke – 14pts, 11 rebounds & 5 blocks

Season Record: 1 – 5

Ladder Position: 13th
