Hawthorn Magic Vs Melbourne Tigers
Boroondara Sports Complex

The Melbourne Tigers Youth Women are on the road this week against the Hawthorn Magic. This game will be an interesting match-up with the Tigers still sitting 2nd in the Watson Pool while the Magic are sitting 5th in the Terrill pool and in desperate need of wins to stay in touch for a finals position.
The Tigers bounced back in the last round winning both their games including a tight contest against Bendigo away from home where they gave up the first 13 points of the game.
The Tigers may have the services of Briana Babic and Courtney Gaze, just depending on when they return from their SEABL clash against Albury-Wodonga. In either case though, Jordan and Zoe Cransberg as well as Ash Stainer have been sensational helping carry the load for the Tigers.
Should be a good contest but the Tigers should be too strong in the end for the Magic.

Bulleen Boomers Vs Melbourne Tigers
East Doncaster Secondary College

This is by far the Tigers biggest test to date. The Melbourne Tigers take on the undefeated Bulleen Boomers. The Tigers sit atop the Watson Pool with a 12 win 4 loss record, whilst the Boomers sit atop the Terrill Pool with an incredible 16 wins in 16 games.
The Melbourne Tigers should be welcoming back Jack Bines, Daniel Sutcliffe and Andrew Panayiotou for this vital clash. The Dandenong Rangers are right behind the Tigers in the standings, so Melbourne will need to keep winning to try and stay ahead in the race to the end. The Tigers will be wanting to send a message to Bulleen to remind them that they are the defending Champs.
This game is too tough to judge on which way it will go. If Head Coach Nick Abdicevic can get his team to take care of the ball and cut back on the turnovers then there is every chance that they can win.

Either way though this should be an epic match.

Best of luck to both sides!
