Big man and current Sydney Kings NBL player, Dane Pineau, returns to his former junior basketball club, to play in the new NBL1 competition for the Melbourne Tigers. After his junior years, Dane played at St Mary’s College in the US where he strengthened and gained valuable skills and experience to progress his basketball career. He had a short stint with the Tiger’s SEABL team under Andrew Gaze in 2017 before gaining a place as a Sydney Kings development player for 2017-18.

In 2018, Dane had a good season with Kilsyth averaging 10 points and 9 rebounds per game but is looking forward to getting back in the red, black and gold to play an even more dominant role in the starting 5 spot for the 2019 season.
The club is excited to have Dane back at the ‘Tigers Den’, and none more than father Brad who is on the coaching panel for NBL1 men’s team. Welcome back Dane!
The NBL1 Season kicks off on Sunday March 31st for the Tigers BACK at MSAC at 1pm for the Women with the Men following at 3pm.
