Georgia Watkins (VicMetro) and Trinity Skenderis (VicCountry) from our 16 1s, have made it through to the ‘Combine’ on March 10th, where the Victorian Metro teams will take on the Victorian Country teams. At this Combine, Metro and Country coaching selection teams will reduce the squads from (40) down to (15), finalising selection for respective representation for the Australian Junior Championships U16s to be held at the Gold Coast in July.
Georgia and Trinity have played together since Top Age U12s and have both overcome major injury set backs in the last (12) mths. Thanks to their commitment to the fantastic physiotherapy assigned and their love for the game, they’re both stronger than ever! Nearly 400 girls were nominated by their Representative coaches (including several Tigers players) to try out for these teams.

We wish them the best of luck.
