Melbourne concluded the round with a 13-point win over Albury Wodonga in a high scoring affair.

Nick Pozoglou led the way for the Tigers with 34 points, 12 rebounds and four assists, while Michael Wells had 17 points, three rebounds and four assists.

Torren Jones starred for the Bandits with 37 points and 21 rebounds, while Ken-Jah Bosley had 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

The Tigers led by as much as 24 points in the game and scored 50 points inside the paint. Their bench also added 31 points to the score to show their importance to the team, while the Bandits relied on individuals.

It was a free-flowing contest to start the game as the Bandits outscored the Tigers 30-28 in the first quarter. Melbourne overturned the deficit in the second term by scoring 23 points to lead by two points at half-time.

The lead stretched to nine points in the third term, before the Tigers scored 26 points in the last quarter to come away with a 13-point win.

Both teams will welcome a much needed rest over the Queens Birthday weekend.
